Disappointed. May 13, 2010 G. Reichert After buying and beating the first 2 Ultimate Ninja games, I was excited to get number 3. I liked how they made the ultimate road in UN 2 like an RPG, but after having UN 3 for about a week, and starting with "hero" mode (where you play through the fights in the anime), I haven't been able to steel myself long enough to play for more then a few fights. You can only use ultimate technique once, lame. Also, the loading times between fights take longer then the fights themselves, that is my main problem. Game loads for 3-5 minutes or so (thank god my tv is near my computer), and the fight is over in 1 1/2. The concept behind the hero mode are cool but the waiting just isn't worth waiting for.
First 2 ultimate ninja games were great I recommend them. I don't recommend this game unless you have inhuman amounts of patience.
Wierd April 14, 2010 Karen Courtright I find myself playing this a lot because it takes little time. I play it enough I gave it a 5 although I'm not sure why, I doesn't feel like it should be fun, but is strangely addictive.
My boy loves it. December 15, 2008 Christine Davis (Berryville, AR) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son wanted it and he loves it. If your kids like this kind of stuff, they will like this game.
Best Naruto Game of the series thus far! August 2, 2008 Summer Paulus (USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I played four Naruto games from the Gamecube and the Playstation II thus far, (Naruto Clash of Ninja I & II and Ultimate Ninja II & III) and the best one is this one, Naruto Ultimate Ninja III. The game is updated with more characters (including all the hokages, including Yondaime) which can be unlocked throughout playing the Storyline of the game. There are over forty characters that you can play as, and so many more things to do. The environment you play in is more interactive, but some of the playing fields from NUNII are slightly different, but otherwise still awesome. I really enjoyed this game, which is more challenging than the last one in the series. If you are new to Naruto games in particular and own a PSII, than definitely try this game.
Can't play it! July 11, 2008 Jietong E. Lin (Fremont CA) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I do not know what's going on here but my PS3 can not play it. After couple minutes in game it stopped respond. I love the ninja games but makes no sence if I can't play it,
