Spoilers

Sasuke has joined Akatsuki in order to get revenge against Konoha for wronging the Uchiha Clan. Naruto finds out
the sad news of his beloved teacher and wants to avenge him but has to first train at Myobokun Mountain before
he can stand a chance against Pain who just happens to be on his way to meet Naruto...and then capture him.
In order to gain favor with Akatsuki, Sasuke has to capture the eight tails jinchuriki. But will Sasuke and Team
Taka be any match for the rapping Killer Bee?

On it's own it's a good volume but after reading 43 it's a bit disappointing. But that's expected since this volume is just starting a new arc in Naruto. I'm not too fond of Sasuke being Madara's lap dog and hope eventually Sasuke betrays him. With Naruto's help of course. But we'll have to wait on that. Though this volume does give a major hint that Sasuke isn't completely in the hands of Madara. Despite what Madara likes to think. Madara is cool but it's annoying that he teases us with the "take off his mask not really routines". Also when Kisame finds out the true identity about Tobi it's pretty cool what we find out. It's cool seeing Shikamaru again but I found it out of character for him to not know what a "key" in codes was. Shikamaru seems to be one of the most developed characters that's not a main character. Perhaps he has an even bigger role than fighting Hidan? Some may like seeing Iruka but I found his scene of being nice to Naruto a waste. Also if it were me, I'd smack Iruka for stealing half of the ice cream bar. I really think that the scene could've been replaced with Kakashi and be better. Sasuke vs Eight Tails is a good fight in itself but again it's lame seeing Sasuke go along with Madara's plans which seem to be nothing since he refuses to explain it and thinks everything is according to plan.

Just finished reading this one and I can't wait to see how Naruto will become stronger. And could he be the one that was prophesied? This series keeps getting better and better. Keep 'em coming Masashi Kishimoto!
