Review of Naruto, Vol. 3 purchase July 4, 2010 Stephanie Putman I appreciate Amazon for making this pruchase available to me because if it weren't for Amazon.com and the seller of this item I wouldn't have been able to purchase this item I couldn't find anywhere else for my sons birthday, and this book is very important to him even though it is considered used. Thank you to Amazon.com and the seller.
Calm Before the Storm October 6, 2009 J. Sherman (New York, USA) Masashi Kishimoto's "maverick show-stopping comedy ninja" shows no sign of slowing down! As Tazuna's bridge nears completion, Naruto grows stronger through intense training while a recuperating Zabuza and his apprentice challenge our heroes once again. Volume 3 is a turning point in this story arc, as the Leaf Ninja must prove their strength to their enemies and to the skeptical town they're fighting to save--and fight they do! Once the melodramatic parts are out of the way, it's nonstop action from here on out. And a few snippets about the creation of the creation of the manga don't hurt, either.
This comic is rated T for Teen: Graphic Violence.
The Shift To Greatness March 30, 2009 J. Wactor (Tucson, AZ) As good as I review the previous volumes, this is the first novel that helps you realize there's something more to this anime than Naruto's antics, rivalries, and crushes. There's some definite maturing of characters as they find out what being a ninja truly entails. The lines between true evil blurs as Naruto understands that even seemingly heartless villians have people that care for them and the capacity just before death to see through their mistakes.
I love this manga.
This was Great! December 31, 2008 D. Abate (Side Lake, MN) i really really liked this. Its really accurate to the television episode too. It has good quality photos and dialogue. :D 4/5
