Product Description Naruto and his friends face another series of tests to become ninja.
Amazon.com Episodes No. 121 through No. 135 of the hit ninja fantasy Naruto bridge the end of Season 5 and the start of Season 6, concluding one arc of the story. Shikamaru's mission to retrieve Sasuke from Orochimaru's henchmen falters, but Rock Lee and three familiar ninja from the Sand Village come to the rescue. The combatants employ fantastic jutsu, especially when Gaara battles Kimimaro, who creates weapons from his own bones. Rock Lee mistakenly drinks some sake and performs his own version of the "drunken fist" martial arts style in an homage to Jackie Chan. But the story also falters: the first seven episodes focus on the same fights, which drag on and on. The plot reaches its climax as Naruto confronts Sasuke at Final Lake, atop the enormous carved guardians of a waterfall. In flashbacks, the viewer learns that Sasuke desires the power to avenge his brother's murder of their family--regardless of its cost. The friendship he shares with Naruto makes their duel more meaningful and intense. As the strength of Orochimaru's curse mark intensifies, Sasuke transforms, sprouting hand-like wings; some of the chakra of the Nine-Tailed Fox-Demon imprisoned within Naruto's body emerges. A new storyline begins when Jiraiya a.k.a. "Pervy Sage," comes to the hospital and announces he has three years to train Naruto to the level of Shinobi. Three years must pass before Orochimaru can take possession of Sasuke's body--and in three years' time, the sinister Akatsuki organization plans to strike at Naruto to obtain the Fox-Demon's power. (Rated T+ Older Teen; suitable for ages 12 and older: violence, grotesque imagery, toilet humor, alcohol) --Charles Solomon (121: To Each His Own Battle, 122: Fakeout: Shikamaru's Comeback! 123: The Leaf's Handsome Devil! 124: The Beast Within, 125: The Sand Shinobi: Allies of the Leaf, 126: Showdown: Gaara vs. Kimimaro, 127: Vengeful Strike! The Bracken Dance! 128: A Cry on Deaf Ears, 129: Brothers: Distance Among the Uchiha, 130: Father and Son, the Broken Crest, 131: The Secrets of the Mangekyo Sharingan! 132: For a Friend, 133: A Plea From a Friend, 134: The End of Tears, 135: The Promise That Could Not Be Kept)

Naruto Box Set 10 Uncut August 19, 2010 sapphirecelestial Great DVD set, no problems what-so-ever. And it's the amazing clash of Naruto and Sasuke so what's not to love? lol Every Naruto fan needs this box set!!
Good episodes, but I wish there were better special features June 1, 2010 Lesley Aeschliman (Enumclaw, WA) Naruto Uncut Box Set 10 is a three DVD disc set that contains episodes one hundred and twenty-one through one hundred and thirty-five of Naruto. The first disc contains five episodes, the second disc contains five episodes, and the third disc contains five episodes and the special features. The focus of this box set is the continuation of the Sasuke Retrieval Arc.
The first extra is labeled as "Production Art." This consists of fifteen pages, which are model sketches of some of the Naruto characters. There is a sneak preview for Naruto Uncut Box Set 11, which runs for roughly three and a half minutes. Next is "From Sketch to Screen," which contains eight pages of storyboards from episode one hundred and twenty-eight. For each storyboard, you can choose to see the clip that the storyboard is for. You can also see the English credits in the "Extras" menu.
Next in the extras menu is a selection labeled "New From Viz Media." This link takes you to advertisements for Shonen Jump Magazine, the Naruto manga, and two pages featuring other Shonen Jump manga titles. A link in the extras menu labeled as "Trailers" takes you to a set of trailers. There are trailers for Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody, Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Buso Renkin, the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 video game, the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm video game, the Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 video game, and the Bleach: Shattered Blade video game.
Even though I've come to expect these special features from the Naruto Uncut box sets, I still find myself wishing that Viz Media would have tried to go to a little more effort to provide a little more variety to the special features. However, if you're a Naruto fan that wants to collect all of the episodes on DVD, then the Naruto Uncut Box Set 10 would be a good addition to your DVD library.
In order to write this review, I checked out a copy of this DVD box set through the King County Library System.
Naruto Uncut Box Set Volumn 10 February 7, 2010 M. Wynn (Virginia) My family loves Naruto! We started buying the box sets after we had moved and didn't have cable. We now own all 16 uncut box sets and enjoy watching them over and over again!
The best anime ever! October 10, 2009 Kamina Sama (Seattle, Wa USA) This boxset contains the last episodes in the Naruto series that follow the manga (japanese comic a.k.a. the original story line) until the Naruto Shippuuden episodes. Boxes 11-16 are "fillers" (episodes not contained in the manga). This is a must have for anyone that watched the series since this is when half of the best fights start/finish. If you are new to Naruto, do not watch this until you watch boxsets 1-9 in order or else you will be completely lost since none of these are stand-alone episodes.
This DVD set just may have the greatest fight's in anime history!! April 2, 2009 Rockstar Romeraux (Baker,Louisiana) This is a seriously good dvd set. It include's all of the episode's from the Saskue Retreaval Arc of Naruto. Every fight in this arc are really good one's but the one that will really knock your socks off is the showdown between Naruto and Saskue. You heard me!! The two main character's in the show battle it out un interupted until one finally falls. A must buy for naruto and anime fan's alike!!
